I started dancing at 22 years old, making me an adult. Sadly, I missed out on being able to complete at the “kid level” and going on to do things like qualifying for world competition. However, I did compete as an adult and did very well for myself, even being on a nationally ranked team. Despite my competitive streak, I always knew I wanted to teach. The best part of my week is when I am teaching with little faces smiling around me. I am not famous nor am I the best dancer in the world. Dancing is just a part of who I am, more than something I do.
